| You will be responsible for defining, implementing and verifying system and/or sub-system level design enhancements for our established product line of high current ion implanters. Responsibilities include working independently to resolve all issues associated with taking a design project from initial definition to manufacturing and production. Additionally, you will be troubleshooting and solving reliability problems on previously designed components and systems. You must have design experience in any combination of the following: analog/digital circuit design, control circuits, power supplies, instrumentation, motion control, data acquisition, high voltage, and ion beam physics. The successful candidate will bring a Project Management approach / focus to this position.
Minimum BSEE, BSME, Applied Physics or Materials Engineering could qualify) (Master’s degree preferred) with a minimum of 5 -10 years of work experience. Must have “hands-on” experience with several of the following tools: PMAC, LabView, DataQ. Matlab, Excel, Viewlogic, ProEngineer. Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and work as part of, as well as lead a team. A strong working knowledge of standard engineering practices in high-vacuum and high-voltage technology is desirable. A strong knowledge of silicon processing is highly desirable. Preference will be given to with direct experience within an ion implanter type R&D group or within the semiconductor industry will be given preference.
Position is located in Glouceter, MA. We will relocate.
This position involves access to export controlled technology which is subject to U.S. Department of Commerce export control regulations. Otherwise qualified candidates must meet these export control requirements or a deemed export license from the Commerce Department before a final job offer can be extended. |
