| PRINCIPAL MECHANICAL ENGINEER
You will contribute to the development of our next generation high-current ion implanter. Responsibilities will include technical direction of engineering projects in a focused, schedule-driven effort to design mechanical and electrical components. The successful candidate will be able to lead subsystem design effort including specifications, design, and analysis. The successful candidate will bring a Systems Engineering approach to this program.
Bachelor’s degree (MS preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 12+ years of work experience in mechanical design, 7+ years of Solid Modeling (ProE) with a minimum of 5+ years of aerospace / semiconductor work experience (direct experience within an ion implanter type/wafer handling research and development group is preferred). The candidate should be able to comfortably perform thermal, stress/strain, and vacuum analysis. The individual should have experience in setting up, running, and data collection/analysis from engineering testing.
This position is located in Gloucester, Massachusetts. We will relocate.
This position involves access to export controlled technology which is subject to U.S. Department of Commerce export control regulations. Otherwise qualified candidates must meet these export control requirements or a deemed export license from the Commerce Department before a final job offer can be extended. |
