| Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates seeks a highly motivated, experienced Business Process Solutions Analyst with SAP HR experience to join the IT Applications team. The SAP HR Analyst will work closely with HR business leaders and end users to ensure that the system solutions are aligned with business initiatives and customer requirements. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate these into efficient functional designs within SAP. The Analyst will be responsible for business process enhancements, production support and end user training as well as full cycle implementations. Excellent multi-tasking, interpersonal, teaming, project management and communication skills are vital in this role. The right candidate will be the user’s primary contact person for HR and Payroll enhancements, issues and questions and will also have the opportunity to lead projects. ***Please note this is a functional (configuration) position***
-B.S. or equivalent experience in IT is required.
- Must have 5+ years experience configuring changes in SAP’s HR modules.
- Must have an in depth understanding of SAP’s processes in a high tech international manufacturing environment.
-Must have strong analytical capability and project management skills.
-Experience developing functional technical specifications for ABAP developers related to user exits, reports, forms and interfaces is required.
- Experience in Benefits, Master Data, Labor Data Collection, Time Evaluation, and Payroll through General Ledger is required.
- Experience supporting third party Payroll, Compensation, Employee Health & Welfare, Talent management systems and interfaces is required.
- Knowledge in Human Capital Management systems within a Global implementation of SAP is required
- Experience supporting SAP implementations is required
- Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 desirable (4.6c mandatory)
- Experience with IBM Lotus Notes and Domino 8.5 application environment is a plus
- Experience working with a BI tool (not necessarily SAP) is a plus
Candidate must be well organized and capable of managing numerous prioritized efforts. Must be able to work independently and with teams on projects. |
