| Join our team in helping to design, develop and implement Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates next generation products and applications. In this position your work will involve analysis, construction and testing of VSEA’s novel and complex state of the art and next generation equipment.
The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in physics or engineering, and have extensive practical experience in electrostatic, structural, thermal and vacuum modeling. It is highly desirable for the candidate to be skilled in Opera, Pro/Engineer and ANSYS software and to have experience in testing and modifying systems based on observed results. A demonstrated ability and willingness to work in a team to design, develop and implement experiments and equipment is essential. Knowledge of ion implantation and other materials modification processes in the semiconductor and related industries is important.
Position is located in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
This position involves access to export controlled technology which is subject to U.S. Department of Commerce export control regulations. Otherwise qualified candidates must meet these export control requirements or a deemed export license from the Commerce Department before a final job offer can be extended. |
