Job Description:
Regional Technical Support Manager - Asia Service Strategy Work with Asian Service Partners and local VSEA service teams to meet financial targets for Parts, Upgrades and Service products and assist in legacy account transition. Provide day to day support to the Service Partners and acts as the VSEA contact person for all issues. Work with Business Development and Asian Service Partners to develop strategies and action plans to meet assigned financial targets. Report progress towards financial targets, makes adjustments as needed to overcome shortfalls. Provide monthly orders forecast for parts and upgrades. Work with local VSEA service team to insure a successful transition to the Asian Service Partner. You will travel with Asian Service Partner sales people to support the sale of parts upgrades and service products. Also provide some field training for parts and upgrades sales and work with Asian Service Partner to establish and execute account penetration / maintenance strategies / tactics. Manage the day to day support for the Asian Service Partner, work with Upgrades group for development of quotations, and work with Business Development to define regional and account strategies. This position is located in Gloucester, MA. Requirements include: BS in a technical field, Chemistry or Physics preferred 3 – 5 years prior Asian semiconductor sales experience Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin. Korean or Japanese a plus 30 – 40% travel requirement within Asia (Singapore and China).
